Creating Product Groups & Adding Products

 This guide will show you how to create a product group and add an item manually in ERPLY.

How to create a product group:

Note — Product groups are used mainly for reporting purposes and it is important to create them before creating products; If you have imported product groups it may be necessary to drag and drop your groups to rearrange them.

Step 1: Click on the inventory icon located on the top left of your ERPLY account. This will take you to the inventory card page.

 

Step 2: Scroll down the inventory menu and click on “Product and Service Groups”.

 

Step 3: Click on the “Add” icon on the top right of this card.

 

Step 4: You may now enter a name for this product group. The example below shows three different groups that were added.

You have now successfully created a product group. Next step is to start adding products.

 

How to manually add a product:

Step 1: Click on the inventory icon located on the top left of your ERPLY account. This will take you to the inventory page.

 

Step 2:  Click on the “new” icon located on the top right of your inventory card page.

 

Step 3: You will now be able to enter your product information. You will also have to assign a particular product group to your product.

Step 4: Click on the “save” icon when you have completed the general product information.

Step 5: Scroll down to add more detailed product information.

 

Step 6: Click on the “save” icon when you have completed the product info. You have successfully added a product.
